Genesis

Kendriya Vidyalaya SSB Gwaldam is located in a lush green environment surrounded by Trishul Peaks in the campus of SSB, at Gwaldam on Srinagar-Almora Highway, 90 kms, away from Almora and 290 kms. away from Dehradun/Haridwar. The Vidyalaya is managed by Vidyalaya Managing Committee with the DIG/Commandant, SSB, Gwaldam as Chairman

The Vidyalaya started wef 1st April 2003 and is single section from class I to X. There are two sections each in class XI and XII with Science and Humanities streams. It is a Civil Sector school
